December 2005 Update
Dearest Friends,
Whew! Getting our family of six packed up and moved across the ocean for our long-overdue Home Ministry Assignment has been quite a feat--but we made it! We are experiencing God's faithful goodness here in Idaho as we adjust to being back in the U.S. and as the children pursue school and jobs here. Deborah is working as personal assistant to Jim Wilson, a godly 78-year old man who has an international ministry in the area; Daniel is a freshman at New Saint Andrews College; David is a senior at Logos Classical Christian School; and 12-year old Valerie is continuing homeschool with Mommy. Everyone is working very hard! Francis is hoping to complete a big chunk of the thesis for his Doctorate of Ministry (RTS) before we start traveling in January to be a part of missions conferences and to visit many of you to share about the work in France. As Francis draws from years of experience and from much research, his desire is to produce a thesis that would be a document that would help American missionaries plant churches in France.
The recent riots, social unrest, and turmoil in France point out all the more how much French people need Jesus. Thank you so very, very much for your faithful financial support to our family towards the goal of seeing the Gospel progress in France.
Please pray that God would provide financially as the year ends by putting on the hearts of people a desire to send gifts to our MTW account--gifts that would clear our huge deficit so that we can move forward.
We wish you a joyful Christmas season as you rest in the sure and certain truth that the same God who came to earth in a human body--in the fullness of time--is today in control of this world and of our lives.
Sincerely and gratefully in our Lord Jesus Christ,
Francis and Donna Foucachon
